SWG plumbed before the cartridge filter?

Any issues with my PB putting in my equipment this way?

->Pump -> SWG -> Cartridge filter -> return?

He (or rather his guys) started installing yesterday and it appears this is how the configuration is going...

There will be a greater tendency for debris to clog the cell blades, which can damage the system, depending on which salt system you're using.

Thanks for the quick reply. It's a Pentair IC-40.

I just called the PB on this and he said he plumbs the SWG after the filter, so he's heading over to check out the equipment install.

Also it could allow hydrogen to build up in the filter. Not good!
