    disposal of reagents

How should you dispose of out-dated pool reagents? Pour it down the drain? Wait for a hazardous material drop off day?

Just pour it down the drain unless you're talking gallons of the stuff. Most of the reagents in the pool test kits aren't classed as hazardous materials in that quantity anyway.
