Hello, My wife and I are looking to purchase a 27' round AGP. The mfr's we are narrowing it down to are Celebration (Mission 54") and Garden Leisure (Oracle 52"). Looking for opinions ASAP. TIA.

The best advice is to pick the one you like and go with that. Either will surely be fine.
Just personal preference as far as water depth. Not a big difference in 2 inches for adults, but kids will be able to touch much sooner on the 52 in. My six yr old can touch on his tippy toes this year and is loving it. Just one of the things to consider.
Ditto what Suzi said. Our GD can walk around in the 52" but wouldn't be able to if it were 2" higher.
Well we pulled the trigger and purchased a 28'x54" round manufactured by Wilbar. My only issue is the filter choice. The pkg comes with a 1.5hp pump, but I have to choose whether I want a sand, cartridge, or DE filter. Need some assistance on which to choose. Also, what size filter should I be looking for. I read everywhere "the bigger the better". I'm not sure what size they include with the pkg, but the salesman told me we get what is recommended for the the size pool. . Help. :?
The type is your personal choice but I'd get as large as they will possibly allow.
Sand - at least 250 lbs
Cart - at least 200 ft²
DE - at least 36 ft² and 48 ft² would be better.
