Just wondering if there are any other Australians on this site that have bought a robotic pool cleaner in Australia.
As far as I can find, the Dolphin series are the only ones available here at the moment at VERY hefty prices. They are nearly twice as expensive as you can get them in the states. The Dolphin Orbit starts at $1699 for a very basic unit designed to do a pool 12 m long. My pool is 22m long. I like the looks of the Aquabot T2 or T4 but can't get them in Australia.
I have considered importing, but the Voltage difference is too great (110Volt vs Australian 240v) then GST and Customs adds another 15% to the cost.
Has anyone else come across other options for Australia? Any help would be great.
