Can someone please tell me how much ta lowers when you add acid to lower ph. If i add 30 oz of acid to lower my ph,how much will that lower my ta. Is there any formula for this. I searched,but couldn't find any answer. THANKS for any help on this.

Looks like TA will drop 3.6 if you use the 20 Baume Muratic (Liquid) Acid given your scenario.

Look at the effects of adding chemicals, right near the bottom on the Pool Calculator.
I really do thank you for helping me. I didn't realize the effects were at the bottom of calculator. I'm a dummy,but i'm trying to learn.
