Just checking in, having a 30' agp installed in a few days. I got it from a local joint with some markup in trade for local parts support. Got them to change the too small filter(19') and to fast pump (1.5 HP) for a quality 244T and 1HP 2-speed. I've been reading up so I can be somewhat smart here. Looking to add an SWCG (all resin pool) and looking in the 40K gallon service range (I'll have approx 24k in the pool).
Anyhoo...figured I'd check in before my problems start.

Where about in Va are you? (I used to build and service pools in the Richmond area- I also went to college at W&L in Lexington)

I want to congratulate you on coming here, reading and learning and knowing enough to get the better system than the one they'd have given you :cheers: :goodjob:

Keep reading and get a good test kit and... the problems WON'T start :-D
