    FC Dropping Slow After Shock

My water is clear and CC is .5 or below....but I lost about 2.5ppm doing the OCLT.

Shocked it to FC=17 last night...tested it tonight and I'm at FC=15.

So, I guess my question is, how long should it take my FC to drop to my target (FC=5)?

Too many variables. Your CYA being one of the most important.

More importantly, you should NOT let it drop because you haven't completed the shock process until you meet the following....

    1. Your water is crystal clear.
    2. You lose less than 1.0 FC during the OCLT OOPS!
    3. Your CC's test is .5 or less
