I have an above ground 24' round pool use Baquacil and seem to be fighting algae. Mostly collecting in center of pool. Like to know of cheap alternatives for handling algae, amount of time for pump use, if heat creates problems, and frequency of DE filter change, so I can enjoy chlorine free swimming. I'm changing the filter every week, and seemed to have to add algeside to often. Suggestions please.

The number one suggestion you're going to get here, is to switch from Baq. So many people show up with Baq problems and no one that has ever switched, wanted to go back.
Sorry to hear you are struggling with your pool, but baqa folks that come here usually are sick of baqu and switching to BBB

Sorry, I spent hundreds and hundreds of dollars trying to keep my pool clear using baquacil for 2 years. The best thing I EVER did was make the switch to chlorine. MY pool was always cloudy and the water smelled funny. Now for less than 40 a month, I have clean, clear water that sparkles like diamonds.
