    new to pool, how much salt do i need to use for an intex pool?

    The amount of salt you need depends on the volume of your pool and the recommendations from the saltwater chlorine generator's manual. You can use The Pool Calculator to determine how much salt you need to add to reach the recommended level for your pool.

    i have a intex saltwater system what do i need to do before first swim just pool salt

    You need a lot of things before first swim.
    Test and adjust pH.
    Test and adjust the FC.
    Add the salt. It needs to run 24 hours before you turn the swg on.
