Help! I have replaced the flow sensor but I still get these codes. I have a single speed 1.5hp pump by Jandy and the cell looks and acts fine. I'm within 2 months of replacing the pump with an Intelliflo SVRS variable speed pump...should the salt system be changed too?

A 171/190 error normally means the back board needs to be replaced. However I heard of one case where someone installed the cell backwards and got that error message.

Thanks! Just to make sure, I went out and checked and the cell is on correctly so now I will search the net and get a new backboard.
As an afterthought...could this code be coming up because the pool installer wired it incorrectly?

The only way I could imagine it being because of mis-wiring is if the SWG is not getting the power supply voltage it is setup to expect.
