Thread: Alkalinity.

  1. Back To Top    #1

My pool is a little low on water, I'm about to top it off, but I was wondering if the water being low could cause the alkalinity to be higher than normal.

Probably will make so little a difference, it'll not be noticeable.

What is the TA of your fill water?
TFP Moderator TF100 Test Kit TF100 TestKit YouTube Channel PoolMath
    You're done SLAMing when:
    1)You lose 1ppm or less FC overnight, & 2)You have .5ppm CC's or less, & 3)your water is clear.

    Re: Alkalinity.

The TA off the fill water is 240 and the pool water is down about 4-6 in.
