All,

Please accept my apologies if this is not under the correct forum topic.

I need to ask for your expertise. I am a new pool owner as of today, just had our 24' round above ground pool installed today! During the final phase of connecting all of the hoses, filter, etc. we noticed that the "Water Bonder" stainless steel bonding coupler does not fit into the flexible PVC correctly. Let me rephrase, the barbed end is actually smaller than the flexible PVC. So much so that a hose clamp will not work. In the western part of Maryland, we are required to bond the water along with the pool wall to the pump. I would like to use this connector rather than drill a hole in the skimmer thus voiding any warranty on it.

What have some of you done to utilize such a water bonding contraption? Any type of adapters?

Thank you all in advance, these forums have been a great source of education!
