Dark patchy stains

Hi all!

Now that I think i have the basics down, I am looking at the stains in my pool....

I have dark patches like dirt marks on my pool floor. I did the Vit C test and it did not remove them...actually the patch i tried the Vit C pill on turned yellowish...

Any ideas how to tackle the stains?

Sounds like the vitamin C was having an effect. Try leaving it on there longer just to be sure, but it sounds like iron stains. See these:

How large are the stains? Just a few or all over the whole pool?
