We have a small underground pool in Mesa, Arizona and have noticed that the existing Kool Deck material is beginning to chip/peel off. I have looked into replacing it but found that Kool Deck can't be installed to dry/cured concrete. The option is to have Acrylic Lace sprayed on.
My question.... Has anyone refinished their pool deck with this material? If so, what is the process to do so?
I am willing to scrape off the old and re-apply the new, but am just looking for a process. I have found a local company that can supply the products (rough measurement of 800 sq. ft. at a cost of $500).
