Aqua Broom

We purchased the Aqua Broom to use in our intex 18'x42" easy set pool. I had the option of purchasing a sand and silt fine mesh filter for the aqua broom but choose not to spend the additional $18. Does anyone know of something I can place inside the bag that comes with it to act like a fine filter? Tube sock maybe? Im just struggling with spending the additional money.

There's one way to tell. Try it! Take a tube sock and place it in the bag and see if it's fine enough for you. I'd think it would definitely be better than what you have now.

A tube sock may be too thick. I would start with a knee-hi stocking or some opaque tights. You can get them at any drug store/grocery store.

is your sand and silt bag that comes with it like 3x the size of the regular filter bag and way to big? Mine's practically the size of a skimmer sock; in fact, I think it is a skimmer sock...

Yeah, you place it inside the skimmer bag. It works REALLY well.
