Cloudy Water

Shocked after chlorine went low and turned cloudy. So I shocked again.

10000 Gal above ground - vinyl liner, PH OK and chlorine very high?

Also put in algey stuff as required. I run pump 24 hrs always. Sand = I also backwashed and so on Pool is 23 years old.

This only happened 2 times in 20 years. Ideas please.

SHOCKED AFTER CLORINE WENT LOW AND TURNED CLOUDY. SO I SHOCKED AGAIN , 10000 GAL ABOVE GROUND - VINAL LINER, PH OK AND CHLORINE VERY HIGH? ALSO PUT IN ALGEY STUFF AS REQIRED. I RUN PUMP 24 HRS ALLWAYS. SAND = I ALSO BACWASHED AND SO ON POOL IS 23 YEARS OLD. THIS ONLY HAPPENED 2 TIMES IN 20 YEARS . IDEAS PLEAE
