    Hello from jpbutler in NJ

    Hi.
Glad I found this site. I have been struggling with algae for a week and a half now and finally seem to be getting it under control. Initially I did the Leslie Pool wallet exercise. After $150.00 and no improvement, I found this site and starting learning what I needed to do.

    thanks

Glad you found your way here. Now spend some time in Pool School and then start playing around with the Pool Calculator. You will see why you need a good test kit.

I have read all of the pool school a couple of times. TF100 just came in the mail today.
My FC is sky high at 25. Was kind of winging it cause the OTO chlorine tester didn't go above 5.
Will retest tomorrow morning. My guess is that it will be significantly lower as I am still killing off algae.
