So it seems like my CYA has gone up, any ideas how that happens? I know that I am needing to raise my FC to 26.. Any other suggestions? The pool is still blue, I can't see the bottom yet but it is progressively getting clearer.

Now that you have a good kit and some good numbers it will go much faster. Get the FC up to 26 as soon as you can and hold it there.
I suspect that it hasn't gone up, I suspect that your test was wrong.
Now you see how having good numbers makes a difference. If you'd have known that your CYA was 65 you could have been shocking at 26 the whole time, and it would have no doubt, gone faster.
