Why not just put a small Intellibrite in? More light than a Color Splash bulb and it'll last longer too.

Color splash bulbs are LED too, how could an IB last longer?

There is a color intellibrite on eBay for $300 so it wld probably work out costing the same. I know the Color Splash light has more colors and light shows so it's up to him.

The lens gasket at some point in the spa lite fixture will go. That will toast the bulb.

The IB fixture will be much brighter and with it's unique lens design, better spreads a more even glow of light over a larger area.
