I followed the recommendations in the pool school with adding CYA to my pool, 1 oz of Dichlor/500 gal of water for 4 nights. I added my last batch of Dichlor Wed night, took my water in this AM to have it tested and it was only 15. TA and pH was a little high but I'll take care of that tonight.

How long do I need to let the CYA go before I really know what the level is? Is the 2 days from the last dose enough?

No. You need to have it in the pool for about one week, then it will register.
