50% diluted sample, can I work out the true pH?

I just got back from putting the pool to bed and realised that I did both my tests on a 50% dilution sample. I know you can multiple FC by two, but that's not true for pH. Is there a way to work out the true pH from the pH on a 50% dilution sample? I think I read it on here once, but now I can't find it again.

The pH at 50% dilution was 7.65.

No.

Well, theoretically it's possible, but you'd need to know the pH of the dilution water. And if you're going to test pH on something anyway, might as well just do the pool water itself and save yourself the math.

Ah well, never mind. I'm not trekking out to the pool again today. It can wait until morning.

I'm testing every 2 hours (UK guidelines for a manually dosed pool) and I've had enough for one day.
