Luckly my wife let me handle it from the beginning. As long as it looks good she is happy.
How do you get your spouse away from the pool store?

If he is happy about the liquid chlorine, then just keep the bottles that say Liquid Chlorine from the pools store on them and then fill them back up with bleach from walmart or wherever you get them. I know its a sneaky way of doing it, but its cheaper and he will never know the difference.
I just told my wife to just let me handle it. I would never switch back. Take a look at my signature pics. Pool is awesome. Maybe show him this site to reinforce that the information you are getting is very reliable and dependable?
