algae guard foaming

i poured algae guard in my pool now its foaming from the filter

That's common for algaecide. It takes a few days for the foam to go away.
Why did you think you needed algaecide?
Can you post a set of test results and how you got them?

because i didnt put it in since we filled the pool so we put it in the first time. i didnt want water to become green

Algaecide won't stop the pool from becomming green, Chlorine does that, but oyu have to use it in the right amount.

Read Pool School, get a good test kit, and forget about the foaming algaecide. We only recommend algaecide, and then only Polyquat, for very specific circumstances. Never for normal use.
