Well, you'll have one helluva bbq pit for the 4th of July.

From reading the progress of others' pool builds, I think it usually goes: 1) sign contract 2) wait for start 3) flurry of activity with digging 4) wait 5)etc.

Steel crew showed up late on day three:

After looking, tell me anything that might be of concern; or anything I should question prior to gunite. I do have flex lines on the main drains and on the deck jets that I didn't realize would be flex. I thought it was all schedule 40. Any concerns there?

I personally prefer no flexpipe. Especially on the main drains. Thats my opinion anyway. I just dont trust flexpipe under pressure and being underground that far. Again, just my personal preference is all.

Lookin good overall! Keep the pics commin!

It has been a few days since my last post. Had about a 12 day wait on the tile and coping, but got those installed yesterday- 7/18/2011. Electricians came and wired all the equipment, controller and light. Here are a few pics from the tile and coping:

It's been a while since any updates. Decking was poured on Monday, 8/1/2011 and the plaster should go in tomorrow morning. The decking is a stamped and stained concrete. Give me your thoughts on the finish. These pictures were taken the day of the pour and lots of staining powder still on the deck. I will post some of the finished product tomorrow while getting the pics of the plaster. Finally we will begin the fill.
