Ah, newbie missed the intro forum...

Totally missed this section of the board! So to intro myself...I live in sunny, hot Albuquerque NM. My husband and I have just put up our first pool: sharkline 12'x17'x52" opera. The liner goes in tomorrow, crossing our fingers that everything goes smoothly! We also just made the decision to return the intex pump and swcg to use a sandpro instead. Maybe we'll add a swcg later.

I'm rather excited to receive my tf100 test kit. Although I have been a stay at home wife/mom for the last 10 years, I have a phd in chemistry. I took one look at the reagent tests and was so excited! Analytical chem all over again! My husband even laughed when I was telling him about the kit. I told him it was no laughing matter! He said the kit sounded great. He was laughing because it is the same look on my face when I talk about teaching the kids chemistry (they are homeschooled).

Looking forward to reading this board more! And hoping I never need your help in shocking my pool. :P

Hey welcome to the forum. A little South of you here but plenty hot and soooo dry this year. This stuff ought to come pretty easy to you with that background.
