My deck company did not properly backfill my 8' steel vinyl lined steps. They are hollow and flex when stepped on. I heard the best way at this point is to drain the pool, pull back the liner, drill thru a section of the step and insert a concrete liquid mixture that hardens over time. The step would need to be patched and liner reinstalled etc. Anyone have experience with this situation and know of the costs involved? Thanks!
