Canadians in the GTA - MA, replacement reagents etc..

If you're in the Greater Toronto Area, I found a place that has MA cheap (if you buy 4 x 4 litres at a time) and also stocks replacement Taylor reagents (plus other makes as well, plus a bunch of other stuff). Not sure if I can post it, so just PM me for the info. Unfortunately, for us in Canada, due to some crazy agreement with Taylor Industries, we can't buy from the U.S. (like TFtestkits etc.) Mods, if I can post the link, let me know.

As an example, MA is $8.99 for a four litre jug at Canadian Tire. At Aquatech, I got a case of four x 4 litre jugs for $24.95. I also bought a 60ml bottle of R-0871 for $38.95. A local pool store had this same size for $48.

If you're not in the GTA, I imagine they can ship...just call.

Reagent prices seem expensive.
For example R-0870 DPD Powder is $6.75 (TFkits) vs $23.95 (Canadian site)

The other nice thing is it's in the GTA area for pickup.
You can find things cheaper at www.piscines-apollo.com, but with shipping it comes out to more.
Take the R-0870 powder - $15.60 at Apollo, but with shipping to Toronto it comes to $36.03. If you're in Quebec, though Apollo is great.

During the strike at Canada Post we were shipping stuff FedEx and had to adjust the shipping prices accordingly. Now the the strike is over, we can once again ship Canada Post, and shipping for Toronto for that reagent is $9, bringing the order total to $24.60
