Pool Newbie Question

Hi guys, this is my first post and of course it's about cleaning. I bought a house with a in ground concrete pool 28'x15' and my neighbors have oak trees that constantly drop leaves and junk into the pool. Not to mention I live in Florida so sand is also always collecting in the bottom. Whats the best way to vacuum it? What would be the best robot type as well as the best hand vacuum?

Depends on what you have available to you. The reason I say this is my pool is 50 years old and I have no pressure side fittings to put a pressure cleaner on. If you do, that's what I suggest. Look up "the pool cleaner", can't go wrong there.

the only things on my pool are 2 returns and 1 drain in the bottom. Other than that I just have one overflow pipe about 2" in the skimmer under the basket.
