2" plumbing for Pentair filter and pump

I bought a Pentair Clean & Clear 200 cartridge filter and a Pentair Superflo which are both plumbed for 2" connector hose. I have called everybody local to me searching for it with no luck. Does anybody know of any national chains where I can buy it? I am in the Metro West area of Boston.
Or, am I doing any damage to the units if I reduce it to 1.5" which everybody on the planet has? Would I be dramatically reducing the effectiveness of the units if I reduce???

If you can't find 2" flex, then 1.5" flex will be fine. Just use adapters to size to the appropriate pipe size. It will affect performance a little bit but you may not have a choice unless you order the parts online.
