    Need help identifying some plumbing

I'm still learning my plumbing. Can someone tell me what these are for? The two ports are on the return side and appear to be linked to the pvc in the deck. Thanks!

Would you happen to have any pics of the equipment pad?
I'm wondering if they are some sort of jets and the pvc that you see are for air. When the jets are on they suck in air and create an air/water mixture. Just a thought.

Sorry, not a great pic - but they are linked to the diverter valve on the return side, opposite the regular jets.

I also suspect the ports in the deck are air intakes for the jets. If we are correct, when you turn them on they should have jets with lots of bubbles in them.

Thanks guys! I'll have have to try them again for more than 5 seconds and see what happens.
