Salt Water Conversion Question - Calcium Hardness

Folks,
If I convert my pool to a salt water type, will that in time fix a calcium hardness problem as I will no longer be using chlorine?

You in fact will be using chlorine, you'll just be making it instead of adding it. It's the same chlorine. And no, it won't do anything for your calcium problem.

Unless you were using a ton of Cal-hypo a year that wasn't contributing to your problem either.

Can you post a full set of test results and test the CH of your fill water too?
