Pool pump is leaking!

I called Hayward just now. They said it's probably a warped seal plate. So I try that and the mounting plate.

I found the problem! I hope it's the only problem. I must have missed it some how but there's a small hole in the seal plate. I don't know if the hole was there before I replaced the seal or if I did something while replacing it that caused a hole but there is a hole but I think I should be fine if I replace the seal plate.

The only problem is I picked up a new seal plate at my pool store today and they gave me the wrong one! I didn't notice until I went to install it since I saw online that the original part was obsolete and replaced by a different one. I figured the new part just looked different
