New doughboy pool owner

I purchased a doughboy 28 ft round above ground pool package and had it installed professionally. I am in the process of building a deck around it. The kids love the pool. I have an inline chlorinator installed but I am using a peristaltic pump to infuse bleach when the filter is running. More pictures to come (if I can get it to work).

Maybe next year for us, we've been thinking about building a small deck. I wonder if there is a DIY detailed enough to make it easy for me.

The added portion is composite. Area took a beating with Hurricaine Irene. Pool and deck are intact except no power. Water is cloudy and I expect it to get green the next few days.
