Anyone using the 54601 Intex SWG on an IG pool?

I see the Intex 54601 generators are at $139 again at Wally World. Anyone using this SWG on a 14k + gallon IG pool successfully? I'd really like to go salt, but can't stomach the $700+ for other systems...
    Pool: IG - Vinyl - 15k gallons - 16x32 3-5' depth
Pump: Hayward Superpump - 1-1/2 HP
Filter: Hayward Sand - 300lb with 62gpm flow rate.
Chlorinator: None, using Chlorine bleach only

Just do a search for Intex swg and you'll find several people that use an Intex swg on an IGP.
