    pea soup

I have a swamp right now. I put a total of 15 gallon of liquid chlorine from pool store. I want to hit it hard since the water is not only green but smells like a sewage plant. I bought another 5 gallons, should I throw it in tonight? Just opened pool about 4-5 hours ago. I will go with the BBB method when I start to get the water under control.

I have a mesh cover and i opened late. Last week the temp was in mid 90s so algae was growing like crazy. Its a swamp every year, I hate these mesh covers.

You may just be wasting chlorine if you don't have a test kit. There's no way to know if you put enough in to get ahead of the algae, and how much you need to continue.

No readings, no way to answer. Sorry.
