Solar Panels and Porch Roof (Common or Scissor Truss)

I am going to be building a gable roof over my deck to put solar panels on. I was wondering if it would really matter much in the performance of the panels if I went with a common truss vs a scissor truss (so I could have a cathedral ceiling). I know that people have said you don't want air circulating under the panel to allow it to cool the panel so I wasn't sure if one of these truss types would be better at keeping the solar panels hotter.

I can tell you that there would be less air space between the ceiling and the panel if I go with scissors and more air space and hence distance if I go with common.

Any ideas if it would really matter much?

I don't believe it will matter. The amount of energy hitting the panel is high, and I doubt there would be much flow through the roof. I can tell when my panels are on because my pool house is cooler.
