Water coming out blue rinse hose...

I'm filling my pool up now and the water has reached the inlet/return line. There was some splashing around on my filter and then water started coming out the blue flat drain hose. I've got water filing the hoses and I don't want to take anything apart unless needed at this point and none of the openings on the multi-port are marked (I even have the book and it's not clear!). The filter handle is in the "Filter position" right now. Does this mean the opening to the skimmer is mis-hosed? Please help!

I'm fairly sure the hose from the pump to the filter (elbow) is correct.

If you look at this picture you'll see that the waste line is at right angle to the inlet and outlet.

I may be WAY off then. The rinse is how previous owner had attatched. The rest is my best guess looking at the less-than-clear documentation.

Looks like you have it connected correctly. Most probably the spider gasket leaking.
