Many thanks to all of the TFP contributers. We learned about leveling and salt pools and intex pumps and possible pitfalls and solar covers and contacting the water department and test kits and sandy bottoms and on and on by reading these forums. Our first pool has been up for about a month with zero problems and clean clear water thanks to everything we have learned here. Thanks!

the box/contraption at the bottom of the picture, is that where you house your filter, SWG, etc?

If so, is it home made? Store bought?

I'm interested in getting or building one of my own.

The box is a deck box http://www.suncast.com/productdisplay.aspx?id=281&pid=142 and it does house the swg and pump as well as the vacuum hose and some other odds and ends.
