    Run Cleaner w/solar cover on?

I ordered my little pool cleaner, a Diver Dave (like Wanda the Whale) - Hubby told me to order the diver so I could say I had a "pool boy" Lol...

I was wondering if it's ok to run the cleaner w/the solar cover on or if it's a must to take it off. I don't want to risk injuring my pool liner or the vacuum, but the cover is so hard for me to handle by myself.

Thank you! That will make my job of keeping to pool clean to Hubby's standard much easier
