New in Oldsmar, FL... builders????

I've spent the last few years restoring a 1920's Spanish-med style house, and I've realized I should have let the house sit and put in a pool first. :hammer: It is Florida after all. Our little boy is three and loves swimming so I'm thinking sooner rather than later is a good idea.

I've done some reading and I'm leaning towards a fiberglass pool, but open to considering concrete. I'm also not totally sold on salt water. Something about the smell of chlorine reminds me of being a kid and makes me happy. LOL.

Any recommendations regarding builders in Pinellas/Hillsborough counties?

Welcome to TFP!

Salt water pools are chlorine pools so you will still have the whiff of chlorine from time to time. Typically though, a strong smell of chlorine indicates dirty pool water. Read Pool School. Get familiar with the products you will use. There are lots of different pool types compared here as well. You will find a wealth of information from within the pages of this forum.

I don't have any builder recommendations. I'm sure that others will stop by though.
