Plumbing Pressure Test Question - Pool Under Construction

On Thursday, the plumbing was pressured up because of an inspection.
It was pressured up Thursday afternoon in the heat, I have taken the readings every morning.

Thursday - 45 lbs. (afternoon)
Friday - 40 lbs.
Saturday - 36 lbs.
Sunday - 34 lbs.
Monday - 34 lbs.
Tuesday - 33.5 lbs.

I called the PB with the concern of the falling pressures, but they said that is normal, the pressure will fall.
Is this true? Should the pressure continually fall?
Now it seems to be leveling out.
Is this normal?

Can someone help with my concerns, pavers are due tomorrow.

Thanks.

Are all those readings about the same time of day?
The first day doesn't bother me but to keep dropping does.

Except for Thursday, when it was pressurized in the afternoon, all of the readings were taken in the morning.

So, I let most of the pressure out of the pipe trying to get all of the air out. I then refilled with the water hose, even making sure that the air from the hose was purged, and got it back up to 40 lbs., it has now held steady for 2 hours.
