Hi,

I'm not %100 sure yet which product my pool guy is going to come back to me with, so is there something I should know about in advance? Fore example I love the look of the 3M quartz but are there drawbacks?

Do any last longer than others?

Without any experience I've been thinking of the quartz, med. greys. I want something that will look good on my steps that don't have as much water coverage.

Are the quartz and Pebble tec equally as hard on the feet?

All of the quartz products are similar. The big differences are in the skill of the installer, which can make much more of a difference than the brand of quartz. They will all last longer than plain plaster.

Quartz is much easier on your feet compared to Pebble Tec. It isn't quite as flat as plain plaster, but close, while Pebble Tec has a very obvious unevenness.
