I was so excited when I saw it in the mail. My girlfriend thinks I'm a dork and obsessed with my pool ever since I started browsing this forum. I'm really impressed by the speed they shipped this kit. Ordered the kit on Monday, received it on Thursday.
Just performed my first test with it and measured FC 7.5 and no CC (possibly below .5, it pretty much looked clear). I did the same with my old DPD tester and would have guessed somewhere around 5ppm. It will be nice to finally be able to accurately monitor my chlorine now!
I'm still waiting few days to check my
CYA and I will do a TA at that time. It was a tad bit low last check. My pH is finally up after 3.5 boxes of borax, 7.8. The temp was around 75f today. I think I can safely take my first dip in the water this weekend just in time for memorial day!
