Cherylandco or anyone.....

Does anyone have a picture of the label on the top of the multiport valve on a Hayward Swim Pro SW256T Sand Filter?

Our filter is missing this label and we are trying to determine the locations of the six valve positions, filter, backwash, closed, recirculate, etc.
Please help!

Re: Does anyone have a picture of the label on top of the mu

I don't have that exact filter, but have a Hayward . . . maybe they're similar? I won't be home for a few days, so can't get a pic till then.

IIRC . . .

With the pump input and return on the left side of the multiport and the view glass facing away from you on the right side, the 12 Noon mark is filter. 6 would be backwash. Recirc is at 8 oclock and rinse at 10 oclock. Likewise, waste is at 2 and closed at 4. Mine has a winter setting at 3 oclock.

HTH.

I am not at our new home with the pool, but 3 o'clock for the winter setting sounds like where the valve was left over the winter by the previous owner. It is like a "non-position" or in between positions. Thanks to you wmshay6, and I look forward to a picture from DBfan187. Thank you both for your help. My wife and I are totally new to pool care, and need lots of help. Thanks again. Attached are a couple of pictures...

Thanks DBfan187, the pictures help a lot. In your pictures, both valves seem to have the settings in the same relative positions - and are the same as described verbally by wmshay6 in his earlier reply. Thanks again to everyone!
