I've had a Sun Dek application on my concrete patio for several years. We've been very happy with it but it's time to get a fresh coat of paint on it.
Like to do things myself when practical vs paying PB/contractors for things I can do. Only issue I have is finding the paint to use. They claim their paint is UV reflective keeping the concrete from getting hot. It seems to work well.
Any suggestions on how to get Sundek paint or other paint that would work as well?

Hello, I have exactly the same problem, the SunDek stuff on the concrete around the pool. Only worse, it has started flaking off.

I went to the local construction supply place, a warehouse where all the contractors go for tools and supplies. They recommended "A-1150 Kool Pool". An Internet search turned this up:
http://americrete.com/chart.asp
or the data sheet:
http://americrete.com/prod/2009/A-1150_cool_pool_rev_8-08_prod.pdf
which also has the instructions, for example it is probably very important to degrease first with some TSP. Note that this web site also has a search function to find a local distributor near you.

Not cheap, the quote I got is $275.00 for a 5 gallon container. I've never used this stuff, but I am 95% this is the route I am going. Make sure to check for cracks and fill them first.

I'm going to try to purchase the "sundek" product from the local dealer. The application seems a little easier and the adhesion to the existing coating won't be an issue. If that doesn't work I like the looks of the Kool Pool product.
THANKS!!
