Algae collecting in seams of vinyl liner

My vinyl pool chemistry is correct 5ppm chlorine, no CC, ph 7.6 and TA @ 100, CYA @ 50. It is a salt water pool but I keep getting algae on the seams of pool. It is a brand new LOOPLOC liner put in this year. I run the filter 12 hours a day. Any suggestions about the algae collecting on seams would be appreciated.

Thanks
Bill

It's more likely to be pollen or dirt. Try using a skimmer sock. If your pool has poor bottom circulation, such an above ground pool with no floor drains, no pop-ups, no deep returns, then try pointing one or more returns downward or for a circular pool diagonally downwards to improve bottom circulation. However, having too many returns point downward can make surface skimming worse.
