    When to drain water

Well living in the Northeast my pool water level is rising almost every day this month. At what point do I need to worry about draining water to bring the level down? As of today the level is just at the top of the skimmer.

I'd keep it at least just below the top of the skimmer to help keep the top of the water clean.
