Autopilot PoolPilot Digital high voltage

Got a new Autopilot PoolPilot Digital with an RC-42 cell installed, and was told the voltage range is 23-28 volts, but my unit is reading 30V at 6.2A, power level 2, purifier 30%. The salt level is 3000ppm (measured with a calibrated meter).

The check light is not blinking, but I'm just concerned that the voltage is high and wondering if this may lead to premature wear on the system/cell.

Any thoughts?

There won't be any problem with early cell wear unless the amps are running too high (which they aren't). Your volts/amps result suggests that the water is not as conductive as the unit would prefer it to be. That could be because of a low salt level, or cold water. My guess is that your water is relatively cold, and that is forcing it to ramp up the volts to get the chlorine production rate it wants.
