Cost to paint a pool - ballpark?

Hi,
I have a 12 year old pool (12 x 30 ft, 4 ft deep, 10,000 gallons) I inherited. It has a blue-white bottom but has some rust stains that cannot be scrubbed out with a wire brush. I was hoping to get the pool bottom repainted a slightly darker color in order to cover up these stains.

Does anyone have a ballpark figure on how much this should cost (Houston, TX)? Would like to see if it can fit in my (shrinking, with this economy budget before I get started.

We don't recommend painting a pool as it tends to be expensive in the first place and painted surfaces don't typically last longer than a year. It is much more cost effective to replaster.
