    Thining of adding an overflow

I am thinking of adding an overflow to the skimmer, would that be the best place for it?

If you have a wide-mouth skimmer then the straight section in the transition piece is the best place. If it's a standard unit then the anywhere around the back is good.

I have a wide mouth skimmer, what diameter pipe would be best?
